Back in The Netherlands

In the meantime, the conference in church is over. We had an encouraging and good time. Also, we really enjoyed spending time with our relatives from Canada.

We were allowed to stay in the US as tourists for no more than 3 months. These were almost over. Therefore, we returned to The Netherlands yesterday. We had a good trip and are recovering from our jetlag a little bit.

Currently, we do not know yet what comes next. God promised that He would take care of the visa. We have no idea yet how that will look like exactly. Our situation is still being reviewed by the North Dakota senator’s office. They are still waiting for an answer from USCIS (the immigration service). At the moment, we are staying with my (Selmar’s) parents and are hoping to obtain the required documents within a few weeks. We will spend our time to sort, throw away, sell or ship our last belongings which are in a storage unit. Also, we will celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve, of course.
