We have just returned from a beautiful holiday in de mountains of Montana. After a long two-day journey through the endless prairies of Eastern Montana, we arrived where the Rocky Mountains begin. Travelling is very different here compared to Europe. Because of the very little traffic and the stretched out empty areas, it feels like time goes by much faster than when spending the same amount of time in a car in Europe.
We were staying in an AirBnB at the foot of the mountains, while our relatives occupied a cabin in the mountains, where we visited them every day. This was a one-hour trip on unpaved roads, without cellphone coverage, through bear territory. What a beautiful nature! The kids had fun in the creek next to the cabin and climbing the mountains. After a few days, we moved to another house on a plain further into the mountains. I (Selmar) went hunting with my brother-in-law, but unfortunately this did not result in any meat. By now, we have returned to North Dakota.
Today we were surprised by the offer that we could stay in the house of brother of a church member during the winter, for an extremely low rental fee. It is a big old house, built in 1906, which is fully furnished. We are so blessed to have a real house before it gets really cold. God promised that He would take care of a house, and He did! We will stay in this house at least till we will return to The Netherlands for the visa in December.
We expect to have collected all necessary evidence within a couple of days, so we can apply for the visa again.
